SalaryOur client, a well-known global iconic company producing high quality consumer goods has an excellent opportunity for an experience AutoCAD Design Draftsperson to join their team in a long term contract role.
Located in central NSW and reporting to the Engineering Manager, the ideal individual will have excellent design & detailing skills, be able to provide design solutions from hand sketched concepts and brainstorming discussions, have the ability to think outside the square when it comes to providing innovative solutions and have a very hands-on approach.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have excellent experience in Mechanical & Structural steel design & detailing.
- Prepare concepts, sketches, and detailed drawings of:
- Platforms and walkways
- Steel structures
- Various items of mechanical & materials handling equipment including conveyors, hoppers & chutes etc
- Have an excellent understanding and experience in a fabrication environment.
- Experience in the food or grain industries would be advantageous.
- Have the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Be able to liaise with trades people during fabrication stages.
- Have the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Enjoy being part of a proactive project team.
