Mechanical Draftsperson

Due to business growth we are seeking a enthusiastic person to join our small team.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical/Structural Design/Drafting. (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum 2 years drafting experience in either the mechanical or structural disciplines essential. (please do not apply if you don't meet thins criteria)
• Must be very proficient in Autodesk Inventor with basic 2D AutoCAD knowledge an advantage.
• Hands on drafting/engineering skills with the ability to work on site at either a mine site or workshop taking measurements to ensure accurate design work. (Newcastle/Hunter Valley regions)
• Knowledge of mild steel products.
• High attention to detail when creating shop/fabrication drawings.
• Strong communication skills who can work both in a team or carry out duties autonomously.
• Must live in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley region. (Please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria)
