Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Design Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Documentation design teams on some great retail projects. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed construction drawings and specifications covering a variety of retail projects
- Creation of assemblies and BOM's
- Creation of installation and packaging documentation
- Applying and maintaining documentation standards
- Providing and aiding the store modelling team with models and drawing support
- Design support and assistance to the manufacturing team (local and offshore)
- Experience leading a design team may be beneficial.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in solidworks CAD/Draftsperson
- Experience or good understanding of retail displays /joinery/cabinetry
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
- Retail design experience beneficial
- Approved Australian working rights
