Mechanical Draftsperson

Design & Build Recruitment are currently looking for a Mechanical Draftsperson in Melbourne on behalf of a leading HVAC Contractor. You would be responsible for drafting commercial/healthcare projects valued more than $10m (mechanical).Additional responsibilities and the requirements for the role have provided in the description below:Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and plans of mechanical HVAC systems for commercial/healthcare projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure the drawings meet all relevant standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements, confirm design details and recommend adjustments.
• Utilise Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to produce high level designs.
• Provide accurate and timely designs to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• 4+ years mechanical drafting experience for a HVAC D&C contractor.
• Experience in designing commercial projects worth $10m+ (mechanical).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficient in the use of Revit.
