Form of workA Mechanical Draftsperson / Draftsperson is needed to join an innovative and dynamic team of engineers. This role is to provide design, drafting and CAD modelling of conveyor components for the bulk-handling industry. Scope to build and develop new skills, whilst working within a collaborative team broadening the role into a mechanical engineer for those who show interest in running their own projects and product development.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide:
- Accurate, detailed and compliant CAD and engineering drawings / specifications.
- Product development support to improve competitiveness and design for manufacturing.
- Assistance to the Project Engineer and Sales & Engineering Team with communication and technical support.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Drafting expertise and support to Sales & Engineering teams.
- Quality assurance and upholding the company’s excellent reputation.
- Resource management and update.
- Customer liaison and support where necessary.
Ideal applicants will possess:
- Experience in a relevant capacity an advantage, however entry level applicants are encouraged to apply, with on-the-job training available.
- Drafting experience in SolidWorks an advantage.
- Current Victorian Driver’s License and preparedness to drive fleet vehicles
