Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer required to join the sustaining capital team for a major engineering company. This role will give you the opportunity to work with top tier mining clients and develop your career within an experienced team. You will be given the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects. 

You will contribute to the project through:

• Design calculations
• Prepare technical reports
• Contribute to internal and external meetings
• Reporting on progress
• Ensure work is completed to statutory and regulatory requirements
• Provide advice during design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

The ideal candidate will have a background & experience in:

• Bachelor of Mechanical engineering
• Previous specific in similar role
• Previous experience within mining projects  - either materials handling, NPI or process plants
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team
• Ability to efficiently utilise internal and external stakeholders’ time
• Previous experience within a similar role
