Mechanical Engineer (Hvac)

Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and implementation of HVAC systems for various projects. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the success of our projects and grow within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
· Studying functional statements, organizational charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication.
· Establishing work measurement programs and, analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilization.
· Analysing workforce utilization, facility layout, operational data, and production schedules and costs to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies.
· Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction
· Developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities, and layout of plant and systems
· Organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant, and equipment
· Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations
· Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
· Directing the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, and coordinating the requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules
Qualifications:
· Relevant qualification at the level of a bachelor's degree or higher OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience will substitute for formal qualifications.
· Strong understanding of mechanical ductwork and HVAC systems
· Proficient in Bluebeam and Procore software and engineering design principles
· Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
· Great written and verbal communication skills.
