- Carry out maintenance repairs and modifications on machinery, and equipment.
- Perform regular tests, inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery and collect test data for analysis.
- Prepare mechanical diagnostic reports; provide feedback to relevant work units.
- Coordinate and supervise the inspection and maintenance of machinery being carried out by external contractors.
- Install, replace, or repair major equipment components, mechanical assemblies, and hydraulic control systems.
- Maintain and update records of work performed on machinery and equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and identify appropriate tooling and techniques to implement modifications or repairs.
- Maintain high standards of practice and awareness in relation to Quality Assurance and safety management.
- Order and collect mechanical parts, equipment and tools
- Train other staff members on correct operating procedures to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Onsite callout and breakdown problem solving, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
- Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Leadership / Supervisory experience.
