We are a Scania Parts and Service Centre offering a 7-day-a-week, 24hr breakdown service, and we pride ourselves on our can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to make our customers and their vehicles our priority.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Trucksmart is looking for qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians to carry out repair, services and fault diagnosis on Heavy Vehicles and equipment on a rotating roster Monday to Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment
· Meet with clients to better understand their concerns and identify issues
· Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
· Examine vehicles and equipment and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
· Perform assessments and alert clients to issues

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Suitable certification or relevant experience
SKILLS:
- HR / HC Licence (Highly desirable - not essential)
· Ability to work within a team or autonomously when required.
· In-depth knowledge of diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
- Exceptional eye for detail.
- Ability to supervise apprentices when required.
- Commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar environment.
$79k – $98k per annum
