Jacks Winches is a highly regarded specialised equipment hire business.

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our small and highly capable mechanical services team based in Welshpool.

To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:

• Trade Qualification (Mechanical)
• Relevant experience in a Mechanical Fitter / mechanic role
• Air / Hydraulic / Diesel experience
• Construction Industry Induction (White Card) desirable
• Current C class driver's licence required
• HRWL LF (Forklift) beneficial
• HRWL DG/RB desirable
• Rental industry experience desirable

This is a varied role on our team and will involve:

• Maintaining a safe work environment and practices
• Mechanical equipment repair and maintenance
• Air and hydraulics, diesel engine service and maintenance
• Equipment service inspection reporting
• Requisitioning materials and parts
• Providing on the job training to subordinates

This is a full time position working 38 hours (5 days) per week.
