A fantastic opportunity exists for Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join Programmed, working on our high-profile South-East Water contract. Working closely with qualified and experienced tradespeople, Supervisors, and even other Apprentices you will gain valuable skills & knowledge to ultimately secure your trade qualification while working in a positive, diverse, and supportive environment.
As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, you will learn how to install, maintain, repair and test various equipment for industrial purposes, and will have exposure working in a workshop environment as well as client sites.
We will invest in you over the four-year apprenticeship so you can continue your career with us, with the potential to move into Leadership roles such as a supervisor or manager in the future. An apprenticeship can open a world of possibilities.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong appetite to learn and genuine desire to pursue a career in the facility management and/or essential services industry. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Motivation to succeed and a willingness to learn
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Values teamwork and has a positive attitude to working in a safe and productive manner
- Ability to follow directions with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to listen and understand customer and company requirements
- Commitment to building a long-term career
- A current Driver’s License
- Completion of a relevant pre-apprenticeship course is advantageous, but not essential
