Your Role
In the role of Mechanical Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance and repairs to all fleet equipment at the Melbourne depot. Carry out effective troubleshooting and ensure the quality of equipment meets clients satisfaction and company standards are adhered to. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Carry out total maintenance needs & troubleshooting
- Work autonomously at the depot & take ownership of your work
- Conduct weekly/monthly service plans & necessary paperwork
- Organise & deliver service support in accordance with customer requirements
- Provide quality workmanship to enhance equipment reliability
You have proven experience from a Mechanical Service Technician background. This would see you excel in the role and within the company along with the following skills and personal attributes:
- Service Technician - Mechanical experience
- Trade qualification - Fitter mechanic, diesel fitter
- Current forklift licence & Cummins engine experience - ideal
- Great communication to get along well with a team
- Experience with Microsoft packages or ERP Systems for reporting - ideal
