About the role
We are looking for a trainee to be a vital part of our highly professional and exceptional team. This is a full-time position that will see you undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration whilst gaining on the job experience.
The role is an opportunity to learn and grow your skills in a high paced environment. You will:
- Answer calls and enquiries within a timely and professional manner
- Book various medical appointments and advise patients of any preparation required
- Advise patients of correct billing for examinations
- Liaise with referring GPs and specialists
About you
You will an individual who is looking to grow their skill set and start a long term career in health administration. You will enjoy working in a team that is service and patient oriented, compassionate, skilled, friendly and represent the organisation professionally. You will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High organisational skills with the ability to work under deadlines

You will be required to meet Heart of Australia’s employment criteria which may include but not be limited to a criminal history check and full medical.
