To be successful you must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working in a cosmetic medical practice - on reception - or experience working in a hospital administration role.
Ideally you will have experience in leadership (people management) and either previous experience in or a keen interest learning about cosmetic & plastic surgery.
About Our Role: You will coordinate the day-to-day coordination of the busy reception desk that covers both Cosmedic & Skin Clinic and Southport Day Hospital.
GROWTH: We can offer GROWTH and development opportunities to step up and act as 2IC in the absence of our Business Manager.
Status: Full Time (5 days) or Part Time (3-4 days).

Hours: Full Time 40 hours - 5 x 8 hour days
Part Time: 24 hours or 32 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Start + Finish Times: Work your shifts between 8.30am and 5.30pm

About You …
- A qualified Medical Reception / admin person with 2+ years’ experience
- Happy to work all hours as required
- Flexible with hours and days of work
- Willing to smile and offer our patients a welcome tea or water on arrival
- A positive communicator – willing to liaise with all members of the team and build positive relationships with all stakeholders
- A lateral thinker – always thinking of what can be done to improve systems and procedures
- A natural leader with experience in managing people (highly regarded)
- Passionate about all things beauty - making people look & feel their best
Reception / Administration - Role & Responsibility
- Work on our busy reception desk and provide 5 star service to our patients
- Welcome all visitors with a friendly SMILE
- Answer phone calls and emails – responding to patient enquiries
- Convert callers / emails to consultations
- Book patients for cosmetic injectables treatments and surgery consultations
- Manage an ‘active database’ to monitor progress with patient scheduling
- Maintain clinic documents and patient records
- General Patient Relationship Management
- Order stock and stationery – maintaining supplies
- Plan and attend team building / team bonding events
- Send out and collect responses from Patient Satisfaction Surveys
- Monitor health and safety standards within the Practice / Hospital
Additional Tasks (depending on skills and experience);
- Arrange and take part in team training sessions
- Assist with and drive special projects (Patient VIP Nights etc)
- Encourage continuous improvement of systems and procedures
- Liaise with our People & Culture Manager to suggest / make improvements
- Provide Weekly Reports to the Business Manager & Owner
