About the Opportunity:
The Medical Affairs Compliance Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring compliance frameworks for Australia and New Zealand. They will play a crucial role in ensuring ethical business practices and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Medical Affairs Director, this role will have a significant impact on the company's reputation and success in the market.
Duties:
• Implement and monitor compliance frameworks
• Raise awareness of compliance throughout the business
• Develop and implement local compliance SOPs
• Review data related to HCP Transfer of Value reporting
• Act as Privacy Officer
• Perform reviews of marketing material for compliance
• Conduct pharmacovigilance literature searches
• Provide summaries of medical enquiries
• Ensure venues comply with the MA Code of Conduct
• Maintain local SOPs
• Participate in training external vendors
Skills and Experience:
• Must be a self-starter with good attention to detail
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships
• Previous experience in a compliance role within the pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Science, Pharmacy, or related field
• 1-2 years experience working in Medical, Regulatory, or Clinical fields within the pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
