About your opportunity
Permanent full-time / commencing ASAP
This permanent administrative officer position will provide high quality administrative support to the Medical Education Unit (MEU) within Medical Education and Workforce Services (MEWS) to support the training of prevocational doctors, including international medical graduates (IMGs).
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and use discretion to make decisions, resolve issues and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated high level of communication, both written and verbal, to support a multidisciplinary work environment.
- Demonstrated high level organizational ability to set priorities and achieve results in an environment of high volumes and tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge, or ability to quickly gain knowledge, of external regulatory bodies i.e. the Medical Board of Australia, internal policies and processes and registration standards that affect prevocational doctors.
Generous remuneration package value up to $94,810 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $2864.10 to $3185.10 p.a. (AO3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
