Strandline are seeking experienced MESO’s to join our Operations team on a permanent basis on a 15:13 roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Gascoyne region.
Our role:
- Actively participate in our on-site HSE program
- Conduct incident response and medical treatment
- Oversight and hands on management of Emergency Services and preparedness on site
- Conduct onsite fitness for work monitoring
- Perform routine checks of emergency response and medical equipment
- Develop detailed reports and provide proficient written and verbal communications
- Demonstrate ability to react, adapt and respond quickly to arising issues
- Act as Emergency Response Team (ERT) Leader
- Provide ERT training on emergency drill scenarios
- Contribute to embedding an inclusive and high performing culture underpinned by the values of integrity, trust, courage, respect and performance excellence
About You:
- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue essential ensuring you are skilled in:
- Fire Fighting Operations
- Road Accident Rescue
- Vertical Rescue
- Confined Space Rescue
- Use and Maintenance of Open Circuit Breathing Apparatus
- Manage Hazardous Materials Incidents
- Certificate IV in Health Care or equivalent essential
- Diploma or Degree of Paramedical Science or Registered Nurse (Highly Desirable)
- 3-5+ years’ experience in similar role in mining or oil/gas (Desirable)
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (Desirable)
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (Desirable)
- Manual Driver’s licence
