Medical Emergency Services Officer

• 8:6 | 7:7 Rosters and Relief
• Top Rates – $50-$70/hour depending on experience
• Tier 1 Mining and Oil & Gas Industry Clients

Baseline Onsite is seeking applications from Medical Emergency Service Officers with a strong medical background in a mine site or remote location for ongoing, long-term, and short-term secondments.
 
The rosters on offer are 8:6 and 7:7 with various ad hoc relief shifts, FIFO from Perth. 
 
The successful Medical Emergency Service Officers will hold the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience on a remote mine site or resource project
• Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
• Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance)
• Minimum Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus, Respond to Fire, Road Accident Rescue, HAZMAT and Confined Space Rescue 
• Drug and Alcohol Collector/Tester Certification
• HR Licence

 
***Highly Desirable***

• Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
• Diploma/Degree in Paramedical Science
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment
• High level of written and communication skills 
• Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic 
• Comfortable working independently in a rural environment
