Berkeley Vale and Jetty Medical centres are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our busy practice. Applicants must have excellent computer, multitasking/organisational skills and a calm and friendly manner. Our practice is a very busy, computerised , multi-doctor practice with nurse support and happy, friendly staff. We operate over two locations, Berkeley Vale and Long Jetty. Previous experience of working in a medical centre is desirable. The position will be answering phones and booking appointments, arriving patients, billing , scanning, supporting doctors and nurse in the practice and other duties. Casual initially, with a view to permanent for the right employee. We are looking for someone to work 3 afternoons per week, alternate Saturdays and provide leave relief.

Exceptional customer service skills. Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner. Ability to multi-task and prioritise. Ability to work as part of a multi-faceted team and independently. Excellent computer knowledge with ability to learn new programs easily. Neat and professional presentation. Fully vaccinated.
Desirables Description
Previous use Best Practice, Pracsoft, Medicare online and Tyro would be an advantage. Previous experience of working in a medical centre for at least a year is desirable.
Description of Facilities
Our Practice has two sites, one at Berkeley Vale and one at Long Jetty. The successful applicant would be required to work in both sites. Our Practice is supported by both a Practice Manager and an Office Manager.
