Our practice in the South Brisbane / Marsden / Waterford West area is now looking for a Part-Time receptionist to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis for 35 hours per week.
The successful applicant will work alongside our team as a support to the Practice Manager in the important role as the first point of contact for our patients and ensure the smooth operations of all daily reception tasks.
The role also allows for career progression.
SKILLS:
- Processing of Medicare and DVA claims, workers compensation claims and all private billings
- Ability to multi task and perform appropriately under pressure with attention to detail
- Availability for regular hours/shifts rostered 35 hours / week
- Reliable
- Ability to work autonomously in a busy environment as well as within a team
- Have excellent computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills and effective interpersonal skills
- Experience in liaising with doctors, staff, allied health professionals and patients on a daily basis
- Answering phones, managing appointment bookings, greeting patients, billing, scanning incoming mail, patient reminders and general reception duties.
You will receive training but should be able to learn and process new skills easily and perform administrative tasks to a high standard in line with set systems.
As a receptionist in our company, you will be liaising directly with Doctors, patients, nurses, IT support and administrative staff and should be able to learn & have a good understanding of medical software and the daily tasks to complete at a medical practice .
The position would ideally suit individuals who are dedicated, accustomed to very busy clinics, are organised, have a strong customer focus, adaptable, efficient and enjoy being challenged!
