Medical Receptionist

ECKERSLEY MEDICAL CENTRE is a well established general practice clinic, owned by a doctor working in the practice. We have a very friendly supportive team, and value all our team members.

Patient care starts at the front door and on the phone, so an attentive and professional reception approach is central to patient care. Reception staff are essential to a positive patient experience.

We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team in serving the patients in our community.

The position is permanent full-time, although a part-time or casual position can be negotiated.

Qualifications and Attributes

Friendly, polite communication skills

Experience in medical reception

Experience with Best Practice software (or Medical Director)

Familiarity with medicare, DVA and Work Cover billing

Attention to detail and documentation

Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team
