The Clinic is open Monday – Thursday from 7.30am to 5.30pm.
The role is full time, based on a rotating roster. An industry competitive salary will be offered subject to experience, with free on-site parking.
Duties and responsibilities
- Meet and greet patients
- Answer phone, make booking appointments
- Data entry into Blue Chip
- Process payments via EFT, Medicare claims , Health Fund billings via portals
- Liaise with patients, doctors, practitioners, health funds, insurance companies, rehabilitation providers, GP’s, hospitals, staff, suppliers and other stakeholders
- End of day banking reconciliations
- Filing
- Follow up accounts receivable to ensure timely receipt of payments
- Review and send out doctor’s correspondence
- Other administrative duties as requested by practitioners and supervisor
- Stationery orders
- Tidy reception area, waiting room and kitchens
Mandatory requirements
- Previous medical / health reception experience
- Knowledge of Blue Chip or other medical administrative software
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive, friendly and professional attitude
- Able to commit to working during the above hours
