Full-Time position – 5 days per week, No weekends
Your Responsibility:
Deliver a high level of customer service with patient inquiries at reception and over the phone or email, ensuring patients are received in a timely, courteous and professional manner
Maintain patient appointments, referrals, preparation of patient correspondence, and communication with other clinics and health funds
Receiving and lodging payments from patients including Medicare claims Eclipse and invoices
Administrative support to the doctors as required to assist our team

The following desirable qualities are preferred:
- Experience in a similar role as a Medical Receptionist, with particular experience in consulting billing as well as surgical billing
- minimum 2 years experience
- Passion for customer service, high attention to detail, outstanding written, verbal communication skills, strong organisation, and time management skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills enabling effective communication at all levels of the business
- Discretion, confidentiality attention to detail
- Able to adapt to and enjoy being part of a team in a busy environment
Patient contact – responsible for first impressions - fulfilling and rewarding role
It is important you are an experienced (minimum 2 years in a similar role in a medical environment) consulting and surgical with a full appreciation of the complexities of managing a surgeon's practice & consulting practice. Healthfund, Medicare, appointment scheduling, patient post surgery consult and surgical billing and smooth running of consulting schedule all form the basis of your skill and experience. VIP software experience would be an advantage.
