The accredited General Practice (business name JCU Health Pty Ltd) offers 12 doctors to service the needs of the Townsville Community, Registered nurses and midwives, a Paediatrician, Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists and two registered Dieticians & Aesthetic nurse. JCU Health is an independent and separate provider of general medical and associated services from the Allied Health Teaching clinics of James Cook University but works together with those clinics were appropriate for patient care.
About the role
JCU Health is looking for a part time Medical Receptionist in our Busy General Practice. We are seeking an experienced administrator who is well presented, punctual, organised and has excellent communication skills to provide reception, administration and billing support to the team.
Skills and experience
GP and Best Practice software with knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule experience is preferred, however not essential.
