We're in search of a Part-Time Medical Receptionist available on Mondays and Fridays, whose values resonate with ours. This role is dedicated to delivering top-notch patient experiences, ensuring every interaction—from arrival to departure—leaves a lasting positive and professional impression. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, assisting medical staff, handling calls, triaging and scheduling appointments, managing billing, and other administrative duties.
You receive a dedicated training program upon commencement, that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality patient service to ensure your success in the role.
What we need from you:
- Previous medical administration or reception experience (well regarded)
- Exceptional customer service skills and cultural sensitivity
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Current vaccination and immunisation status
- Intermediate computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
