We are accepting applications from talented and experienced staff to join our team in a Medical Administration / Receptionist role. The position is 2-3 days a week with the potential to increase in number of days.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include a range of day-to-day administrative and support tasks. Being the first point of contact for clients, residents and staff, you will be responsible for providing courteous reception and administrative support.
This role includes but is not limited to the following:
- Providing our patients with the highest quality customer service, both in person and via telephone
- Carry out all aspects of administration as needed
- Manage patient billings and bookings, attending to patient enquiries, liaising with Medicare and other Healthcare funds, and balancing daily banking
- Ensure the smooth running of the reception area
- Respond to a variety of requests with a matter of urgency and confidentiality
- Preparing consulting suites
- Check letters and reports
- Documents management on system
To be successful within this position you will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a similar role within the Healthcare industry.
- Experience with Medicare DVA and Private Health.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and “can do” approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team and take on new challenges.
- IT knowledge/experience
- Ability to multitask
- Prior experience using Gentu and Clinic to Cloud
