Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently.
- Verify and update patient information accurately in the electronic medical records system.
- Collect patient payments, processing transactions accurately and securely.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the clinic.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a busy medical practice environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
- Willingness to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and some weekends on a rotating roster, as needed.
