Form of workAn opportunity is available for a Medical Receptionist to join the friendly team at Yarra Vascular Surgeons to work along side our amazing 2IC in our Vascular Imaging division of the practice. This is a part time role consisting of 3 days a week to cover Maternity Leave of our current receptionist. This role may have the opportunity to become ongoing. The role will be required to work predominantly at our rooms in Epping.
Previous experience in medical reception is required. You must be proactive, take initiative and work well in a team environment, as well as autonomously. We strongly believe in a high level of customer service so you must have impeccable communication skills and be empathetic to patients needs. Attention to detail is very important.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Answering phones
- Meet and greet patients
- General administration duties
- Booking appointments
- Addressing emails and faxes
- Liaising with hospitals and other health providers
Successful applicants must possess the following attributes:
- Previous medical reception experience
- Prior knowledge of Genie/Gentu advantageous
- Be a team player
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Be highly motivated and can prioritise effectively
- Excellent computer and customer service skills
- Have a professional, can do attitude
- Impeccable communication skills and attention to detail
- Be punctual and reliable
