Richmond Medical Practice are seeking part-time Medical Receptionist to join their team at Richmond, Victoria.
About the role:
We are looking for someone who values teamwork and has a high regard for quality with patient care. This role provides the front-line services and has the responsibilities of guiding our patients through administrative and financial aspects of their treatment.
Duty and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner
- receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically
- Liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner
- Liaise with GPs, other health professionals and their staff
- Make appointments, scan and file documents, prepare documents for mail in/out
- Type documents as required, with a high level of accuracy
- Stationery and clinical supplies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development
- Handle cash, EFTPOS and other payments and adhere to practice billing policy
- Ensure the practice building and rooms are clean, tidy and accessible at all times.
- Perform other administrative duties as directed by the Doctor's/Practice Manager
- Candidates living in and around Richmond, VIC 3121 and nearby suburbs would be preferable.
