Medical Receptionist (Experienced) 2 Positions

We are currently seeking an experienced bright and cheerful receptionist with excellent customer service skills to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. The Role involves offering a pleasant and helpful service whilst showing professionalism, warmth, interest and understanding. This position requires organizing appointments, maintaining medical records , scanning, stocking, sterilisation and performing other tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our clinics

This position is a permanent part-time position. Flexibility to cover Annual and Sick leave is a must.

Permanent Shifts:

There may be flexibility in the Alternate shifts

POSITION 1 

Monday Alternate - 8:15 to 1pm or  2 to 6pm

Tuesday mornings   - 8:15 to 1pm  (+)

Thursday  - 8:15 to 1pm 

Sat  Mornings ( 1 in 4)     - 8:30- 11am 

POSITION 2

Monday Alternate  - 8:15 to 1pm  or  2 to 6pm

Thursday  - 1pm 5pm 

Essential:

1. Excellent communication skills written and verbal
2. Ability to maintain a high level of Professionalism and confidentiality
3. Able to communicate with a diverse range of people
4. Able to work independently ,show initiative and work productively as part of a team
5. Proficient use of Windows operating system
6. Flexibility to adjust work pattern to meet additional workloads as it arise

Desirable

1. Previous experience in a general Practice environment
2. Knowledge of Clinical Software :Best Practice/ Pracsoft  preferred
3. Knowledge of MBS, medical Terminology
4. First Aide /CPR training
5. Current Driver's license
6. Certificate 3 in Health Services Assistant
