The Role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced receptionist to join our Orthopaedic private practice in Woy Woy. Being the first point of contact at our practice for patients, this role will be responsible for being a customer service superstar, ensuring patient care is your priority, and ensuring the administration of the practice is under control and managed to a high standard.
This role will involve:
- Permanent part-time role, working two or three days a week on a rotating roster (Monday and Tuesday week 1, Monday – Wednesday week 2)
- Booking/changing and cancelling appointments
- Assisting patients upon arrival
- Data Entry of patient details
- Invoicing and receipting patient transactions
- Scanning and filing
- Typing documents with a very high level of accuracy
- Handling cash, EFTPOS and other payments
- Debt Collection
- Ensuring practice rooms are clean and tidy
- Ad hoc administration duties as required
- Being punctual and reliable, as you will be responsible for opening and closing procedures
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Previous experience in a medical reception role
- Have current live and working in Australia rights
- Billing experience
- High level of computer literacy including competency with Genie
- Have an understanding of MBS, DVA and Workcover
- Be familiar with medical terminology
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, with strong oral, written and face-to-face communication skills
- Be able to have a consistent, positive and friendly attitude
- Drivers licence
