What is the opportunity?
Perth Radiological Clinic has a position for a full time permanentMedical Receptionist to join our clerical team. You will be provided with on job training and have the opportunity to work alongside various teams, traveling throughout our northern suburb clinics including Joondalup, Innaloo, Morley, Nollamara, and Midland. The start and finish times varying from 6:15am to 5:30pm with a possible 1 in 3 Saturday mornings as overtime to help regulate a healthy work life balance.
Reporting to the clerical supervisor your responsibility will include:
- Care for customers by maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety, and confidentiality
- Arrive patients and make clinical appointments at the front desk
- Handle accounts, banking, and Medicare batching
- Take patient bookings for clinical appointments by answering inbound calls and emails
- Answer internal phone calls
- Complete computer work including billing and data entry
- Undertake other duties or additional responsibilities as reasonably directed
What do you need to be considered?
Ideally you will have a professional presentation and approachable manner with excellent customer service skills, you must be able to liaise effectively with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds and work collaboratively in a team.
You will receive full training on our systems, need to have intermediate level computer skills and demonstrate a high attention to detail with analysing confidential, data entry and cross-checking information for accuracy. In addition to the above, you must have:
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport in order to travel across various PRC Clinics as listed above.
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to provide a National Police Check dated within 6 months or willing to obtain
