Medical Receptionist Rockhampton

OVERVIEW:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team at our medical practice in Rockhampton. 

Skin Flare Solutions is a dermatology practices in Ipswich and Rockhampton, delivering education, treatments and management of chronic inflammatory skin conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Each Skin Flare administration team member is an excellent communicator  providing a friendly yet professional environment for our patients. 

Each Skin Flare administration team member is accountable for the following key responsibilities:

• Manage patient bookings
• Complete all Billings with medical compliance
• Answer phones promptly and professionally
• Actively rebook patients in clinic and on the phone
• Answer emails promptly and professionally
• General administrative support for our practitioner
• Maintain confidentiality standards within the practice to protect and ensure the safety of all patients.
• Strengthen and develop relationships with existing clients.
• Work as a team and partner with colleagues to ensure a consistent exceptional customer experience and contribute to a positive practice environment.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in medical administration a must.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, customer service skills and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• A strong attention to detail and pride in their work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical receptionist experience
• Experience with medical software such as Power Diary and Medical Director.
