Medical Receptionist - Southside Family Medical

Southside Family Medical is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Receptionistat their clinic in Burnie. This full-time position offers a great opportunity to work with a well-established medical service.  

The successful candidate will need to have excellent time management and patient support skills, be able to work well in a rapid-paced environment, and as part of a team.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience working in medical reception. 
• Highly organised, with at least three years’ experience using medical practice software (preferably Best Practice) and competent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
• Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
• A positive and empathetic team player 
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience complying with privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Current National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable Persons Check (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work across the whole week (Mon – Sun)
• Excellent diary management skills and attention to detail. 
• Passionate about reception duties, supervision, training, co-leading a team and general office administration.
