Join a prestigious medical practice led by a renowned Electrophysiologist, regonised for expertise in cardiology and electrophysiology. With affiliations a prominent institutions like the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the University of Melbourne, the practice is actively engaged in cutting-edge clinical arrythmia research, particularly in atrial fibrillation and stroke prevention.
The Role:
- Front desk reception: Greet patients, answer high volume phone calls, respond to emails, handle billing, schedule appointments, and prepare files for consulting sessions
- Email and telephone communication
- Schedule patient appointments
- Check and update patient details, including doctor's referrals as needed
- Process Medicare/DVA Claims
- End-of-day banking reconciliation
- Private/Medicare billing
- Prepare Eftpos summaries and reconcile against computer totals daily
- Audio typing of correspondence
- Liaise with hospital and other staff from affiliated rooms as needed
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm for daily practice operations, exhibits patience, politeness, and courtesy towards patients, embraces teamwork, and shows a willingness to learn and provide administrative support to the Practice Manager as needed.
The Offer:
You will receive an attractive hourly rate that ranges from $28-$30p/h + Superannuation dependent on experience. Enjoy working with a fabulous Practice Manager and team who are supportive and considerate. The hours are Monday 9am-6pm and Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5pm. Located in Richmond at the Epworth Centre.
