About the Role:
Medical Receptionists play a key role in the successful delivery of care to our patients. Our Medical Receptionists ensure all patients receive excellent service in a professional and caring environment. They are aware that confidentiality is of utmost importance. The Medical receptionist work collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and other Medical Receptionists. We are looking for someone who values teamwork and has high regard for quality patient care. This role provides the front-line services and has the responsibilities of guiding our patients through administrative and financial aspects of their treatment.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Providing high quality reception and secretarial services to the patients and doctors
- Greeting patients and visitors in person and on the phone
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- General office and administrative duties
- Opening and closing the clinic as required
About You:
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Previous Medical Receptionist experience (advantageous)
- Ability to multitask
- The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Experience using Best Practice software (advantageous)
- Critical attention to detail
- Answering incoming phone calls efficiently, confidentially and politely at all times
- Conduct face to face contact with patients with a caring and polite attitude
- Ensure messages are complete, details correct and relay in a timely manner
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Experience in customer service
- Professional personal presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ensuring billing is completed accurately and in a timely manner
