About Our Practice
Dr Dan Bates is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Specialist specialising in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain. He is the former managing director at Metro Pain Group, Monash Clinical Research, and board chairman of Monash House Private Hospital. Dan works full-time with people suffering from back, neck and joint pain and has worked extensively in Sports Medicine and for multiple professional and national sporting teams.
Dr Zeeshan Arain is a Sports Medicine specialist and a qualified General Practitioner. He has over 20 years experience working across a range of different medical fields, including emergency medicine, medical education, concussion research, nutrition, and weight loss. Across all disciplines of his medical career, Zee’s ultimate passion is to help people feel healthy and pain-free.
Liam is our dedicated Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a passion for advancing the field through research, innovation, and practical techniques. Drawing from his extensive experience in the disability sector, Liam understands the importance of continuous improvement and prioritises the safety of his patients in all circumstances.
Role Responsibilities
- A focus on patient-centered care
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Handling all incoming patient communication including phone calls, email and faxes
- Referral management
- Scheduling appointments
- Appointment billing and Medicare claiming
- Liaising with Medicare, TAC, Workcover and Private Health Funds
- Procedure bookings
- Managing mail and deliveries to the practice
Selection Criteria
- Previous experience as a administrator/reception in the health care industry is preferred
- Knowledge of procedure billing and booking
- Previous experience with the use of Clinic to Cloud (pref) or other medical software
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
- Exceptional phone manner and customer service
- Ability to work well in a team and multi-task
