AddressWe are looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our specialist medical practice in Camberwell! The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to customer focus and team work, as well as the ability to multi-task and work in a calm and efficient manner.
KEY DUTIES
- Booking and arranging of appointments
- Managing patient phone calls and email enquiries
- Greeting patients on arrival, ensuring accurate data entry
- Liaising with patients, doctors and nursing staff
- Processing patient billing and Medicare payments
- Other general office administration and housekeeping duties
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Outstanding communication, telephone, and customer service skills
- Be able to interact with patients, visitors & staff in a friendly, professional and confident manner
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Minimum one year experience as a receptionist desired, but not essential
- Genie software experience desired, but not essential
This permanent part-time position requires you to work 3-4 days a fortnight, as rostered. Must have flexibility in working hours/shifts with the availability to cover sick leave and annual leave.
