Key Responsibilities
- General medical reception duties and administration duties including but not limited to answering incoming calls, checking in patients, confirming appointments, processing and receipting patient accounts
- Billing and receipting of consultations and surgery
- Theatre bookings and liaising with hospitals and anaesthetists.
- Fostering professional working relationship with team members, patients and medical staff
- Maintaining compliance with organisational policy and procedure
- Ad hoc data entry and administrative duties and supporting the Practice Manager with the day-to-day operations
Experience & Attributes
- Experience as Medical Receptionist/Administrator highly desirable;
- Diligent and a proactive attitude;
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Proficient computer skills;
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise;
- Detail-orientated;
- Experience with Practice Management software;
- Ability to function as part of a team dedicated to delivering a high level of patient care.
- Flexibility as some Saturdays morning shifts, early and late shifts are required.
