About the role
An opportunity has become available for a 4-month fixed term Medical Scientist contract at our Osborne Park laboratory.
The role will be to participate in the day to day operation of the laboratory, working as part of a dedicated team. Duties include:
- Monitoring service to key clients
- Reporting of results
- Perform follow-up of outstanding tests
- Auditing of request form entry
- Other duties as required as part of the needs of the business.
The preferred applicants will be flexible, punctual, self-motivated, display initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Laboratory Science or an AIMS accredited equivalent as a minimum.
- High attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and successfully work as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication, time management & organisational skills.
- The ability to contribute towards the delivery of customer focused services.
- Have own transport and be able to take part in weekend and evening rosters including public holidays.
