A specialist medical practice in Western Sydney (Penrith area) offering wide range of neurology services. We are looking for a part-time casual staff.NO WEEKEND WORK. Experience with either Bluechip or Genie Specialist Practice management software is essential. Good computer skills is mandatory. Previous medical specialist secretarial work is highly desirable. Opportunity to extend working hours depending on the performance.
Qualifications & experience
- Computer skills are essentials (word, pdf, email etc)
- Previous experience as specialist Medical Secretary is highly desirable.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work as a team.
- Previous experience with medical practice software ( Bluechip, Genie) is essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide secretarial support to a Specialist Practice
- Book patient appointments & attend phone calls
- Process clinic billing through practice software
- Occasional typing of clinical letters. Maintaining filing system including 'paperless system' for the patient records
- Handling cash/Eftpos/Credit card transactions
- Prepare clinic rooms & other general administrative work
