AddressWe're looking for an enthusiastic Medical Secretary to join our private Sports Medicine Clinic in Gosford on a casual/part-time basis. We are offering two days a week, without weekend clinics.
A typical day includes:
- Retrieving phone messages and replying to callers.
- Making appointments.
- Retrieving and responding to emails.
- Greeting patients.
- Invoicing and receipting.
- Using Medical software (Best Practice).
- Trying letters.
- Liaising with Insurance companies, allied health professionals, sporting organisations, etc.
- Administrative tasks to assist with the smooth running of the practice.
Essential requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent computer literacy, especially Microsoft 360 (Word, excel etc.).
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with using Best Practice software.
- Interest in sports!
Remuneration is negotiable, depending on your level of experience and ability.
