The position is due to commence 1 May 2024, to provide high quality psychiatric services to Clinical Liaisons and outpatient work of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre including primary and secondary consultation, and liaison with treating services.
Contribute to a vibrant research programme and enhance the stature of the institute. Participate in education, including medical students, and supervision and mentorship of psychiatry trainees Provide clinical support to members of the multidisciplinary team.

Skills
Essential Requirements:
- Medical Qualifications registrable by AHPRA
- Specialist post graduate qualifications in psychiatry
- Appropriate clinical experience post higher qualification
- Demonstrable relevant experience in medical education at undergraduate and post graduate levels
- Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with medical staff and other disciplines
- Superior communication skills including consultative, interpersonal, negotiation and report writing
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in Liaison Psychiatry, specifically oncology
- RANZCP Certificate Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
