Includes Weekend shifts and Public holidays.

Join our innovative specialist emergency medicine and urgent care clinic - the first of its kind on the Central Coast - with a vision to provide expert multidisciplinary emergency and urgent care to the community in a convenient state-of-the-art new emergency and urgent care centre.
You will be working alongside experienced, supportive, and dynamic health professionals with a passion for high-quality patient care. EUC is a new clinical service for the Central Coast community and its visitors to experience timely specialist emergency medicine services away from hospital-based emergency departments and the associated unpredictable wait times.

As the Administration Team Lead at EUC Emergency & Urgent Care, you will be at the forefront of our mission to deliver exceptional patient experiences. You'll have the opportunity to welcome patients with warmth and professionalism. Your role will be diverse, rewarding, and impactful.
You have
· Previous experience within a senior medical reception or administration role
· Experience managing staff and coordination of functions in a dynamic clinic environment.
· Knowledge of correct billing procedures for Medicare and Workers Compensation.
· Experience using a Patient management system.
· Well-developed computer skills including accurate data entry skills.
· Awareness of confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and discretion
· A passion for consistently exceeding customer expectations.
· A people-oriented positive attitude, showing empathy and patience.
· Highly professional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment.
· You show resilience and self-control in your dealings with patients and colleagues.
· Ability to be self-motivated with good time management skills and demonstrate a flexible work attitude.
· The ability to manage both your own emotions and the emotions of those around you.
· A goal of being fully invested in the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assume responsibility for providing leadership, direction, and co-ordination of team members to assist Practice Manager.
· Warmly welcoming patients and attending to the gathering of information.
· Managing incoming phone calls and enquiries.
· Managing Waiting Lounge to ensure patients are comfortable and informed.
· Liaising with staff to communicate arrivals for triage and patient needs.
· Processing payments, and other claims
· Conducting bank reconciliations and managing mail.
· Utilising Patient Management systems and maintaining communication channels.
· Create and maintain patient accurate and contemporaneous records.
· Assist with HR and Payroll function as required.
· Ensure consumables and equipment are kept stocked and maintained.
Qualifications

· Current National Police Check (current and dated within the last 3 months)
· Completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
