An exciting opportunity exists for a Medical Workforce Coordinator to provide high quality support with a focus on recruitment, selection and credentialing services for Medical Officers within West Moreton Health. In this role you will use your high level of interpersonal and communication skills while acting as a first point of contact for general enquiries form internal and external stakeholders regarding medical officer onboarding information.

About the role
This position reports directly to the Manager Medical Workforce and is responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality focussed recruitment, selection and credentialing services for Interns, Junior House Officers, Senior House Officers, Principal House Officers, Registrars, Senior Medical Officers, Visiting Medical Officers, Locums for West Moreton Hospital and Health Service and ensuring that all processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge of end to end recruitment processes.
- High degree of initiative, decision making ability, and negotiating skills, sound analytical and problem solving and resolve issues in the day to day environment;
- Ability to initiate, determine and follow-up work priorities within mandated deadlines.
- High level ability in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Professional and the maintenance of data bases and information systems;
- High level interpersonal and communication skills which reflects the ability to liasie effectively with staff at all levels, government and non-government agencies and members of the public;
- Knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues including workplace health and safety, equal opportunity and anti-discrimination.
- Ability to acquire the knowledge of legislation, procedures, policies and regulations pertaining to the recruitment of senior/resident medical officers, including medical registration and immigration.
- Ability to work as part of a team with customer focus.
