About the role
With a solution-oriented mindset, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn, this role presents an exciting opportunity for both early career and experienced Pharmacists to explore the fascinating world of community pharmacy. Join our growing team and contribute to the timely and accurate dispensing and dispatch of plant medications. Leadership, administration, and inventory management skills are desirable, emphasising the importance of accurate medication recording and effective time/resource management. This Monday to Friday role ensures a work-life balance with no weekends or public holidays, based in our Folium Dispensary in North Strathfield.
Must have:
- Qualification in Pharmacy with full unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Experience using FRED dispense software
- Experience dispensing Medicinal Cannabis (Highly regarded but not necessary)
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and follow our dispensing procedures, adapting as we grow
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Accurate maintenance of patient records and regulatory documentation
- Outstanding inventory control skills
- Immediate start preferable
Tasks & responsibilities
- Growing and leading a team of pharmacists and technicians
- Building upon existing systems and processes for our dispensary
- Collaborating with prescribing doctors to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately dispensing prescriptions
- Counselling and educating patients on their products
