About the role:
This role has 2 elements.
- Membership Consultant
- Social Media Manager
This role is designed to support the management team and to get you involved with how the club is run on an ongoing basis. It includes five, six hour shifts per week supporting the team in generating leads, filming social media content, converting sales, customer and client enquiries, ensuring facilities are clean and maintained, and contributing to a great club culture with a strong focus on member retention and appreciation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the club manager in the day to day management and running of the club, taking responsibility for the welfare of your members
- Ability to 'step into' the club management role when required, some previous management/staff supervision experience highly regarded
- Marketing and promoting through multiple social media platforms including and not limited to; Instagram, Facebook, Google My Business, Campaign managers
- Pro-actively seek new membership sales and membership retention
- An eye for detail plus strong administration and organisation skills essential
- Handle phone inquiries and pass to relevant staff members
- 'Hands on and can do" attitude with the ability to engage with members a must
- Meet KPIs and sales targets
- Use initiative in social media and local marketing to drive sales and work within the local community
- Create a positive club culture with a strong focus on member appreciation
- General housekeeping, ensuring the gym and equipment are always clean and tidy
What you need:
- Enthusiasm for helping others and a passion for Health and Fitness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You use initiative and 'think outside the square'
- Comfortable taking direction from senior management and adhering to the systems and culture of Anytime Fitness
- Social media experience
- High sense of integrity, honesty, drive and self-motivation.
- A passion for helping people through health and fitness
- An eye for detail with strong administration and computer skills
- First aid & CPR (can be obtained prior to starting)
- Police Check
- Working with children check
30 hours per week
Salary $25-$30 per hour + super + commission
Permanent part time
