About the role:
Samsung’s Social Media team is responsible for fostering one of Australia’s best social communities by developing and executing conversation worthy ideas and campaigns.
As the Social Media Manager your role involves:
- Develop and execute Social Media activities and generating Social Media ideas to ensure Samsung is seen as an innovator in the Social Media industry; and
- Drive Samsung’s engagement across Social Media platforms and providing support in strategic decisions and reporting on key metrics month on month.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Social Media Lead and agency partners to develop and implement our Social Media strategy with a focus on always on activity which includes the integration of product and marketing campaigns.
- Own Samsung’s Social Media content calendar and organic publishing, ensuring content is planned in advance, aligns to our social playbook and the calendar remains up to date.
- Lead Samsung influencer and advocacy programs.
- Work with the team and agency partners to produce best practice social content that will engage and grow our community, ensuring alignment to our Social Media playbook and business objectives.
- Daily Social Media monitoring to identify trends and opportunities for social to drive engagement and advocacy.
- Where required, ability to edit content including videos, imagery, animations and other digital content.
- Minimum 3 years Social Media experience including management of an ongoing content calendar, strategy and ideation plus reporting and insights and understanding the data at hand.
