About your opportunity:
Permanent full-time / Please note: this is a multi-disciplinary position. Applications are being sought from Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists and Social Workers.
The position of CYMHS Mental Health Clinician will provide Mental Health specific clinical assessment and treatment as a case manager, for children, youth and their families and participate in the delivery of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
The role will work collaboratively with consumers and multi-disciplinary professionals to provide clinical care and a therapeutic environment conducive to the dignity and well-being of consumers and carers within the Mental Health Service.
Generous remuneration package value up to $132,730 p.a. (HP3) or $128,435 p.a (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1) comprising:

Requirements:
- Proof of qualification (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the position or working towards a relevant qualification.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. 5.1.
