We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. This role requires precision and expertise in fabricating and assembling aluminium doors and windows. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, cutting, and assembling metal parts, and ensuring that all products meet our strict quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Read, interpret, and execute designs from blueprints and drawings for aluminium doors and windows.
• Measure, cut, and shape aluminium materials using various tools and machinery.
• Perform assembly, and installation of aluminium doors and windows at job sites.
• Ensure all fabricated items meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the design and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately according to product specifications.
• Observe safety precautions when operating cutting machines.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance purposes.
• Perform routine maintenance on cutting machines and equipment.
• Set up, adjust and operate cutting machines to cut materials such as Aluminium and glass.
• Maintain records of production output and other data related to the operation of the machine.
• Read blueprints or specifications to determine setup and operational requirements for each job.
• Replace worn parts or sharp tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with cutting machines as they arise.
• Assist coworkers in completing their duties when needed.
• Performed accurate measurements, calculations, and materials estimations.
• Performed onsite measurements to determine appropriate layouts.
• Marked cutting lines and measurements on materials.
• Completed day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.
• Fitted windows of varying glazing materials and transparencies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator, specifically with aluminium materials.
- Proficient in cutting techniques and assembly tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of work experience is required.
